SPR # TTTT7M2BZR fixed in 8.5.2 releaseRecommended Release (14.5)

Product Area: IBM Lotus Expeditor Technical Area: XPD Platform: Cross Platform

SPR# TTTT7M2BZR - Installing an MUI pack after installing a fixpack caused provisioning to return a partial error after installation. One of the jobs provisioning performs is to valdiate the current install configuration against what is going to get installed. It determines what is going to be installed by the manifest (install.xml). The manifest only lists parent features and not the children or included features. During the install validation, an error occured because an include feature was not found. Actually, the feature exists, but it isn't defined in the MUI manfiest, rightly so because the MUI isn't going to install the parent of include feature. The fix here is when provsioning encounters this situation, it will automatically add the missing parent or included features during the install validation step, if and only if they exist in the manifest and are on the file system.
